I see. Was it constant and how long after did the pain come? Thanks.

No it wasn't constant. The progression was for about a year until I realized something was very wrong. It started with low blood pressure, heart palpitations, weak and dizzy spells and raynauds type symptoms in the cold along with the numb tingling. It started around Oct 2013. It wasn't bad as I was still functioning normally and then Sept 2014 it rapidly attacked and turned into terrible shooting nerve pain and debilitation for 4 months. I couldn't even drive. I slowly became able to function again but I am not myself and have limitations, but hopeful that I will recover more.

There was no known cause for yours?

No, but I have a very high ANA, so autoimmune is most likely. Did you have an ana test? Have you seen a rheumatologist?

I havent seen a rheumatologist. Neurologist sent me to do a blood test for a bunch of stuff and it was all negative. I saw something with ana on it as well and it was negative. I did the regular test for diabetes and it was negative but I skipped the two hour glucose test.

Do you think I should still see a rheumatologist?

It happened when I was on antibiotics for a tooth infection and root canal. I'm not sure if there is any correlation.

Some very smart people believe that conditions in the mouth can cause all sorts of bad things elsewhere in the body, even cancer. Root canals are especially bad, as some say there is almost always an infection there that hosts toxic bacteria, with no obvious signs in that area. Search on Extreme Health Radio or youtube. Talk to a biological dentist.

It wouldn't hurt. Something could be found. Always good to have another mind at work and cover all bases.
