Default Heel pain

Hello

For the last little while my heels have been very tender, sore and painful. It's the back of my heel not the part of ur heel that u walk on. In the morning, it hurts quite a bit to put my feet on the floor. It gets better a few minutes after putting my feet on the floor but they stay tender and painful to touch for the rest of the day. They also feel tight. Is this part of neuropathy or something else?

I have the same thing. I think it is part of the "something else" that is causing the neuropathy. This comes and goes with me. Right now it is excruciating in the balls of my feet, but a few months ago it was the heels. I have had this for years, before I knew anything was wrong with me. I also have a dry tight hot feeling in my feet and hands.
Have you had your ANA retested?

Women who wear high heels alot, may develop shortened Achille's tendons.

Also if you have used fluoroquinolone antibiotics in the past, you may have tendon damage and spurs in the heel can often cause pain there.

Pain in the heels may also be a symptom of plantar's fasciitis.
This website is a very good explanation of the various foot problems people can develop:

Getting a good evaluation by a good podiatrist can fix many foot pain problems.

Thanks mrs d.

I wear high heels about twice a year so I don't think its that. It's come on pretty suddenly. I think it's achilles tendonitis because the pain occurs where the tendon attaches to my heel. I'm not an athlete at all so I don't know how I developed this.

I haven't had my Ana retested...

I'm getting scared... All of my symptoms are intensifying. My limbs are still constantly asleep and feel swollen with pressure. They are starting to feel more and more " numb" along nerve paths.

The millions of fast vibrations (twitches? They are soooo fast and small, I don't know what to call them, but there are thousands a minute everywhere) are getting more intense and lasting longer and longer

I strongly feel that my circulation is impaired somehow but I don't even know how that could be possible. The little blood vessels in my legs are breaking like crazy, I have so many squiggly red lines on my legs. Why are they are breaking? What impairs circulation?

Lightbulb spider veins:

Here is a Wiki article on this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telangiectasia

Here are some Google images:
ttps://www.google.com/search?q=telangiectasia&biw=981&bih=654&source=lnm s&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=fZCaVbv0O9CQyATu95Ng&sqi=2&ved= 0CAYQ_AUoAQ

This is very common. A few spider veins here and there occur on many people. Severe cases require medical diagnosis.
