Thanks. Yes but it is very hard to be positive. Do you get tingling in tongue also?

I get this. It's on the left side of my tongue - along with my throat, face, nose etc. I have no burning inside my mouth yet, but the left side of my throat hurts sometimes.

My progression has been sort of in the middle of the spectrum. It's been about a year, and my progression went from stiffness and twitching in the legs to twitching all over and cramping in arms and legs, to burning feet, some mild stabbing pains in various areas, and some of the cold/wet feelings, buzzing, electric shocks, and many of the other symptoms people have described. Fortunately, my symptoms have so far been fairly mild compared to what some others have described. I'm still working full time and leading a fairly active life, but have had to cut back on some strenuous activities.

Over the past few months, progression has seemed to slow down. Not sure if it's because of supplements and dietary improvements or not.

And yes, I do occasionally get a numb/tingling sensation in my tongue, but not very often and usually only for a short period of time.

Hello, thanks for your posts. I do get it also occasionally, in the corner of my mouth, half of tongue, eye twiching, sometimes I get muscle twiches but not so often and tingling/vibrating. Very annoying. I noticed that not in pregnancy there are for example 4 days OK, without these sensation or very little of these sensations are present, then they are two days or just a day when it is a little bit worse. So in general it is a little bit better, than before pregnancy, because before it was everyday the same. I had emg, mr of the head and neck, b12 is ok, thyroid ok. What else can I do before skin biopsy?

You could get some autoimmune labs performed. Also, did they give you a full thyroid panel or just check TSH?

Mine started in my hands and then up my arms. I remember saying "well at least it doesn't affect my feet!" About six months later it was affecting my feet and then legs and now, it's pretty much everywhere.

It affects the right side of my face at times but not my tongue like some get. At least now I know that could change!

Smile Poly Neuropathy

That was when I started the med and vitamin regime.

Now 2 yrs later it mostly is fine during the day just tingling and faint burning that is sporatic. Also get stabbing pains and lips and cheeks get numb.
There are times for a few days just enough symptoms to let me know it is there other times it can be unbearable

Lightbulb Vibration

Hi Barbie,

You have been asking about a sense of vibration.

I have located this older thread (2009), talking about a sense of vibration:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...d.php?t=104711

I hope this helps?

Please take excellent care!
