In my case, twitching was my first symptom, and the burning in my feet didn't come until several months later.

It does seem strange though, that none of the websites seem to list twitching or cramping as symptoms of SFN.
Ragtop that was my experience as well. Twitching 1st and several months later burning. That was why I didn't think it was neuropathy initially.

Glenntaj thank you for that information. I have a cyst in my left hip as well as spondylolisthesis and stenosis in my spine. I will further pursue those areas.

My first symptom was my left pinky twitching......that was just about a year ago. I had a car accident and then surgery right after that and it accelerated my symptoms. My left groin cramped, trouble walking, shaking left arm, numb feet. Left foot shakes sometimes. I have pressure in upper abs and back almost constantly.
