No, muscle pain is just part of my puzzle, It is elsewhere as well, though I do plan on discussing an evaluation on PAD with my physician next appointment. I have been slogging through this whole week. Making it happen, trying to laugh as much as possible.
A funny story about the lotion plus my infirmity- Tuesday morning my wife and I were talking before she left for work, pre-coffee and I heard "leg kicking all night long" me- aw, honey, use some of my Epsom salt lotion. It works great for me. her- I was talking about you... I am assuming I am just so accustomed to some of my symptoms they are just obstacles I hurdle without a thought. Ok, hurdle is generous. Bypass somehow. I am going to ask for that evaluation and I'd really like them to do a nerve biopsy. My symptoms march on despite control usually reserved for toltalitarian regimes.

When you get your testing done, ask for immunoglobulin testing.
When the blood thickens with these cryoglobulins, then the limbs suffer ichemia, which is pain and cramping and RLS type symptoms. The cryoglobulins thicken with lowering outside temps. Another thing to get evaluated is your thyroid. Today more men seem affected than in the past... we have lost of endocrine distruptors in our enviromental pollution these days. When I get MSGed, I get leg movements too... this is not often, but when I do get them, I rub in the Morton's lotion and it goes away within 10-15 min. This is more of a "thigh" thing for me. I can also get spasms along my shins. I apply the lotion there. The shin thing...affects my toes mostly and that at night too. Try applying the Morton's at night...see if that helps better.

The pain seems to get worse with barometric pressure dropping, as with approaching storms. With hurricane season here there will probably be lots of those days. People with arthritis have been noticing this connection since the dawn of time.
For me it is a generalized increase in pain and muscle aches, it doesn't seem to affect the burning. The burning has gotten a lot worse lately so I guess I will find out. |
