Lyrica - How long does it take?

Default Lyrica - How long does it take?
My dr just switched me from Gabapentin to Lyrica due to swelling in my feet and ankles. It has been a few days and I am in agony. How long does it usually take for the Lyrica to kick in? I feel worse than I did before I started to take the Gabapentin, and the pain is starting to creep up my ankles.

My neuro had said about a week when i was taking it. I don't know how they assess that really. It did alleviate a lot of the symptoms. I couldn't stay on it though. Side effects were not good for me.

Diagnosis: Idiopathic Small Fiber Neuropathy (Statin Induced)




• R-Lipoic Acid: 100mg - 300mg Daily
• Acetyl-L Carnitine: 1500mg Daily
• Vitamin B12: 1000 mcg Daily
• Magnesium 500mg Daily
• Grape Seed Extract 200mg Daily
• Benfotiamine 300mg daily
