Default Just reinforces--
--what I've written here before--symptoms arising from spinal cord or nerve root compression due to osteophyte or disc problems can be exactly mimicked by problems in the peripheral nerves.

Both avenues of investigation need to be done in cases in which there is no immediately obvious cause. Of course, the time and cost of this tends to discourage it.

the cost comes from doing an MRI, which can be 1-4grand on your insurance, depends on the type of mri too.
