My mother was an R.N. and when I was growing up, a little baking soda in a small glass of water was her standard treatment for an upset stomach. My husband and I raised four kids, and our standard treatment for nausea was the same one I learned from my mother. These kids are now grown and they used the soda treatment for our grandchildren, and so it goes. I think it's been time-tested!
