A few months ago a promising treatment was said to be in development. I haven't heard much on it since then, has anyone? Maybe something to bring to our neurologists and ask...

This is very interesting. However, I cannot find anything about it at the FDA or Orange Book. I suspect they will have a while yet to do that legal paperwork and perhaps trials.

Just reading between the lines of the article it is likely that an IND has been filed and no holds have been placed by the FDA - especially if Merck Sorono has formed a partnership with this biotech company. It's not in the FDA Orange book because these in-licensing agreements tend to happen during the Phase II clinical trial stage. I'll try to check on this at work, but I would imagine it will be a while before we see Phase III results.

Phase 1 trials don't have to be reported for drugs or biologists on clinicaltrials.gov, so there won't be anything posted yet. (FDAAA801)
