No mine's not time released. When I began with GP I was having twitches every night and could not sleep. It was prescribed mostly for that symptom. As the other symptoms started taking center stage my ex-neuro suggested I up my dose and take it 3 times a day. I chose not to because at this point my symptoms thankfully are not horrible during the day and the drug even at my low dose affects my brain.
