I get burning in my left eye and paresthesias in the left side of my face, down to the left side of my throat. It also extends into my left ear and causes disequilibrium (feeling of rocking or walking on a trampoline). My vision is blurry because of this. It was worse during the acute phase of my symptoms - things were so blurry that it was almost like I was living in a cartoon world. Noisy environments would cause my disequilibrium to kick into high gear.

My eye doctor doesn't have a clue and told me that she wasn't taught much about neurology. The neurologist didn't know and shrugged her shoulders. The ENT didn't know either.

It's all small fiber related. At this point I feel like I know more than any doctor that I've seen. I should really follow up with neurology, but I'm so over all this crap.
