I didn't know that this is done in the US or anywhere for that matter - it's not done where I am: http://www.innovationsstemcellcenter.com/
Here's a long shot: anyone tried it? What would be the cost. We've spoken about it here theoretically/as a potential therapy in the future but never as an actuality. |

We have an MD here in So Cal who does PRP and Stem Cells for joint rehab. PRP is less costly than Stem Cells but still pricey if you are on a "budget". Insurance does not cover.
People have called in to his weekend radio program and asked about neuropathy and these protocols and he says NO, these are used for joint rehab/regeneration. I've thought about PRP for my knee for years but don't do it due to $$$. I've also thought about Prolozone (oxygen/ozone) injections for knee and it's less $$$ but still in the $200-300+ area for one series. I don't know if Prolozone would work for neuropathy. One could check that Prolozone and neuropathy via google. |

have done this through cell surgical network. It was not covered at all by my insurance as it is still considered experimental. It is quite pricey, 8k for first procedure 6k for second. Noticed a small improvement in sensory after the first, no significant strength increase as I was hoping for.
I just had my second one done in December, too early to see what this one might do. |

Thank you all, and thank you Northerngal. Much appreciated.
That is pricey. Do you intend to continue with it? How many sessions do they intend to do? I suppose it's too early to tell and improvement takes longer? I just don't know very much about this, and about SFN or PN and the therapy. I can't recall, do you have SFN, or was it something else? Anyway, thanks for the report. I'll keep looking into this. And good luck with it! Quote:
