back in 2008, i was getting pretty good relief taking 600 mg p.d. of ALA. when the R form came on the scene, i switched to that, taking 100 mg p.d. however, R soon began causing gut issues and for whatever reason, i stopped all lipoic acid, no matter what form.
i want to start ALA again and have come across various transdermal formulations which are used by the autism community. so, has anyone used an ALA or R-LA patch? would you let me know your experience with it...good, bad or indifferent? |
