be careful while doing physical therapy for balance. i have been falling more often as the degree and area of numbness in my feet and legs increases. I did two months of balance therapy, which was quite intensive, using balance machines and harnesses. i felt i was making progress, but had injured my toe and didnt realize it. it became infected which progressed to osteomyelitis, which resulted in amputation. just make sure you check your feet regularly especially if you do the same type intensive balance therpay.
