Default resurrecting an old recipe to fight antibiotic-resistant bacteria

I guess I wanted to post this to show the power of natural antibacterials, especially given the dangers of certain antibiotics when it comes to PN:

Default I'm glad you posted this.

There are many natural remedies that should be given more attention.

I couldn't agree more. But we all know why they're not given the light of day.

Thanks DavidHC.

It seems to me that it is a great combination of something from 1000 years ago, confirmed by biomedical science in 2016.

I hope that it gets wide clinical acceptance.

Indeed, though as you know, if there's no money to be made from it...

What's interesting is that more and more I see science come to realize that garlic and onion are immensely powerful antimicrobial substances, something known for centuries (or even millennia) by traditional cultures around the world.

Here, for example, is something from 1983: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6669596.
