I simply put a microwave mug in the microwave and heat my tea for 1 min. 55 seconds, then take it out immediately and put the teabag in. Then stir in my teaspoon of sugar and steep the teabag while I put my oatmeal in the microwave. Then I take my teabag out and drink it before I try to eat.

It didn't work at first when I got home from Mayo, but I've found that with time, and concious scheduling time, it works very regularly.

Yes you did spark up a thought or two :), you have it " on the rocks " as they say:D, we use the microwave a lot and use it for breakfast as well, instant porridge with half milk and half water, sprinkled with mixed dry fruit, comes up great.
all the best
Brian :)
