[QUOTE=DavidHC;1199689]Hi Marie,

If you look at my post in this thread, just above, you'll see two links. As I say, I have the first and will soon try it, and will try the second at some point, I guess. I like the Pure Encapsulations brand, despite the higher price, because they don't add any fillers to the extent that it's possible.

Good luck!

Hi David
Thank you for your response. I think I will try the Grape Seed Extract - Standardized -- 200 mg that Caroline recommends for now. I/we will be interested in knowing how the Pure Encapsulations brand (Resveratrol) works for your nerve pain. Good luck! I will keep you posted.

A friend got rid of gabapentin once she got on grape seed extract a few yrs ago. I thought I mentioned her story here but don't see it, maybe it's way back. I'm on grape seed ex going on 23 yrs.

I'd say many missing a good thing...how many on this thread doing good with it?

Hi Caroline 2,

It's been a while since I have posted here. I was wondering what is the dosage and brand of grape seed extract one would take?

Great to see you on here.......

All the best,

Cliffman

There are SO MANY brands and I like this company's overview although I don't buy their product, just because I don't. I'm using PipingRock brand now, their 250mg capsule and most days I take two and mostly on empty stomach. Normal dose I'd say is 200mg daily but I take it so long that I updose often. NEVER an issue. Those on blood thinner drugs should not take both.

I like Olympic brand too from iherb. There are so many good brands.

I've wondered the diff with grape seed ex vs resveratrol and grape seed is made from seeds and resv from skins of grapes. My doc years ago said she felt a little drunk on resveratrol when we were discussing these antioxidants. Overall I feel safer and know what I've achieved from grape seed ex for many years so no plans to change. The info I'm posting below talks about resveratrol being more estrogenic, I don't need that.
