Hi All,
Yes this headache is miserable! I guess I thought it would happen close to the infusion not 2 days later. Plus I thought it was from the patch the Pain Management dr. started me on last week......UGH!!!!
I can't take oral pain meds because of my I.C. but did take a Tylenol an hr ago...(I'm sure my bladder will yell about that tomorrow!) So far the Tylenol hasn't helped the headache tho. I'm heading to bed in a min. and do hope I wake up tomorrow with out it!

Default Roxie--

--is there any way you can "pre-medicate" before the infusion in a way that your body will tolerate? Many people take a combination of Benadryl and some form of over-the-counter non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (aspirin, ibuoprofen, etc.) before the infusion to sort of forestall the kind of effects you describe; I realize with the gastric surgery you may be in a more complicated situation.

HI Glenn,
When I get my infusion they give me Benedryl but not Tylenol. I'm going to see my Rheumatologist this morning just so he can see the side effects I've been having all weekend. Maybe he will add Tylenol for this next infusion, though I didn't have the side effects till late Friday night and then all weekend.....the infusion was Thurs. I hope I don't have this many side effects after each infusion......ugh! Take care!

Hi, just sending thoughts and sorry your feel so bad. I hope the apt went well. Do you ever try a cold wash cloth for your forehead? I hope you get some relief soon and will also email you.
