Last year, during one MRI well
I FREAKED...I mean I truly FREAKED? I was totally yelling and screaming! It was for an MRI for my B Cancer...for that one has to lay face DOWN! Everything, I mean EVERYTHING I was laying down on was poking into my body literally cutting me into pieces! Worse yet, the techs had their sound on in the 'chamber' but MY SOUND OUT was off? I knew what they were ordering for lunch and it wasn't 9am yet? I kept going, wiggling, trying to breathe etc. to get any attention..it was a no go...Yet the PET scans, I guess cause they pre-zonk you, well, that was a no problem test...altho VERY COLD. I don't know if it was the fact it was one of the coldest days of the year this past winter or the fact it was at 6AM before the heat was on throughout the offices? W/PN All I can remember about the PET and CAT scans are that they are NOISY and very very cold! I abhor cold these days.. I've had open and closed MRI's I really find no particular difference, unless the sound/communications are OFF? Both rooms are COLD, both tests are noisy! We Have to do what we have to do! to get treated the way we should!
Can I say GRRRR! BURRRRR!!!! GROWL!!!!!!!! - j
