I am a 45 yo male who was recently diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. I have seen neuro groups from 2 different hospitals and they cannot pinpoint why this has happened to me. I have had all the tests twice and they cannot find anything wrong with my spinal cord or head. The only thing they could find is a vitamin D and copper deficiency. I have been supplementing copper an D3 for two months now and exercise as often as I can. I am currently getting laser and light therapy treatments along with acupuncture in my lower legs and feet to try and regain some feeling or sensation. I am not diabetic. My symptoms seem to be getting gradually worse; my legs are becoming more numb. I can still function somewhat normally but am concerned about this progressing.
If anyone can give me some advice based on their experience I would greatly appreciate it. Any encouragement would also do some good. Thank you in advance and God bless! JDaniels |
