If you started developing neuropathy as a child, you may have an undiagnosed autoimmune illness or a genetically caused neuropathy like Charcot-Marie-Tooth neuropathy.
If it is Charcot-Marie-Tooth, it may be treatable by L-Serine supplementation. If it is autoimmune, then immunosuppresant drugs or IVIG may help control your neuropathy. It is important to find the cause of the neuropathy to see if there is a treatable cause. You might also want to look at Nicotinamide Riboside. It has been shown to help reverse neuropathy in animal models and is available as a supplement. If you do nothing about controlling the underlying causes of the neuropathy, it is fairly likely to get worse over time though I can't absolutely guarantee that. Good Luck |
