Default The Na--

--is just the chemical symbol for sodium; the R-lipoic Acid is complexed in a sodium molecule.

Hi and thanks for all who replied, I should I guess be ok with the ones I have at 100mg a day, i just did not want to under dose and not get the full effectiveness of the supplement and stop using them down the road thinking it is not working for me. I guess its hit and miss as everyone is different. Experimental some what, up the dose down the dose till you either feel some relief from it or not. How about the acetyl-l-carnitine and the befotiamine for SFN, has anyone had any good progress by using these two with R alfa lipoic acid?

Ive been taking 2 300mg alpha lipoic acid caps for about three months. my endocrinologist told me just this week it may take a year for results. my pn is getting a little worse but the Alpha lipoic acid could be helping.... grabbing at any straws here...
