Has anyone here tried HBOT for their neuropathy? Does anyone know of any neuropathy patients who have gone through this treatment? I have found a Naturopathic doctor that I really like that uses this for neuropathy and other ailments. He makes no wild promises or cures, but say it can help but it is expensive.

However my Neurologist says he has talked to several patients who tried and none got any benefit from it and at considerable cost.

A Google search has many positive posts, but I could not find a negative post.
Why are there so many differing views on the same topic. Money?

I think I have read that or similar. I understand that it can be very useful with the non healing wounds. My condition seems to be progressing with all that I have done. If it could help, I think it would soak up a lot of resources and time. I am 60 years old and have had the condition for quite some time. I think to get any results, it would be an uphill battle with many sessions at considerable investments of money and time. All for a chance it helps, and then for how long? Or possibly not at all. No guarantees and no one will go out on the limb with promises.

I talked to someone recently who had gone through HBOT.He explained that his legs "did not work because of nerve damage" secondary to Chemotherapy for bladder cancer and he was reliant on a wheelchair. He said he had 4 sessions of HBOT an hour at a time and he now walks unaided.

I also noted that top sportsmen ( premiership footballers and rugby players) use HBOT to speed recovery from injury.

I therefore invested in an Oxygen Concentrator and now if I watch a film on Netflix etc, I do so using one. Its not a hyperbaric chamber and the oxygen levels are only marginally increased. I don't know if it has made any difference. I don't know if it even works. But its quite pleasant to use and makes me feel I am doing something useful even during "Love Death and Robots"

An after thought, I have a friend and she's probably dealt with neuropathy for 40 yrs give or take, and she just turned 90...She's done everything that her doctors directed her to, from all the drugs, hyperbaric chambers and her neuropathy is from statins, radiation on legs for skin cancers, and she was told pre-diabetic, but I think she is diabetic..she loves her sugars. Anyway, she's been taking Grape Seed Extract for about 10 yrs or so now and I know she's a lot better and I don't know if she does any of the drugs anymore or not...I don't see her anymore since our bridge groups dissolved.

Why do you think your condition is progressing. I've been dealing with neuropathy for 10 yrs since hip replacement and if anything the neuropathy has improved. I have posted what I take and use for my issue and wonder if you've tried any of my protocols.
