$3,000 in accupuncture visits, saw a relief around the 7th visist but came back a week later..15 visits...no results

Vicks vapor rub and Biofreeze - hurts especially Biofreeze

Wool Socks - yes even in the hot summer - seems to be less painful then cotton socks.

Marijuana - yes helps me be bearable around my family

Slippers - wear them all the time, looks foolish wearing a suit and slippers

Percecets - daily and sick of the way they make me feel
Methadone - tried it same effect as percs...

Many people, including myself, use a fentanyl patch. Fentanyl is a synthetic morphine. The patch method of delivery is especially effective. Down booties help my feet a lot. Some people have had good results with a spinal cord stimulater. You can google it to learn more. Good luck. We feel your pain.

I'm also a Fentanyl Patch user. Using 125mcg/hr (2 patches) changing them every 48 hours. Been using Fentanyl patches since 1-9-02 and it's the only thing that has given me satisfactory pain control in my 20 years with PN. My PN is idiopathic (despite the enrichment of several laboratories) and various other examinations and the Fentanyl is the only thing I am using for my PN. It ain't gonna cure it but sure allows me to function normally.

Jolene,we do not judge here,we just had a forum on Marijiuana,if it
helps use it. It helps others with pain and sick tummies.. Good luck.
I take Morphine SR 3 times a day if needed and 3600 mg of neurotin.
With PN we are all different,no one fit's all. Wish it was. Sue
