Cool Smirk Help!!!!!

Boy, am I ticked off!! I had an appt today at mypcp office. Well , they did an upgrade to the computer network over the weekend and some bozo neglects to either upload the patient info or just plain loses it! So it was absolute pandemonium at the docs, I finally get in, I end up with the practicising nurse because of the backlog. The pn gives me accolades on my labs and I request copies and am on my way. I was glad to be out after four hours! Now I am sitting at home reviewing it and what do I see? red blood cell count 4.10-ref 4.20 to 5.80---hemoglobin- 13.1-ref 13.2 to 17.1 and hematocrit 38.4 ref 38.5 to 50.0 !! all just below range!!! And here I am with neuropathy and fatigued all the time!! I hope Mrs. D ,Rose or someone can offer an opinion since I will be going back in the immediate future!

Do you have copies of previous labs? That would be the first thing I would want to check, besides where other items are within the normal range. Those patterns are very important. Someone can be outside the "normal range" and be fine, but in other cases even items within the "normal range" are significant.

Maddening. I am finding that not only is it common for patterns to be ignored, but an amazing number of doctors say labs are just fine when several important items are well out of range.
