Default Ever hear of "BodyTalk"?

I personally won't believe it until I see it work for my myself, but a relative claims that this really works. Has anyone here ever tried (or even heard of) "BodyTalk"? A web page for it is here:

Just to clarify, I've never heard anyone using this for PN. My relative claims to have had success with minor ailments though.

Well, I read everything it said on the website.

I am now going to tap tap tap on Alan's head and tap tap tap on his sternum. Well, I have to wait because he went to a health fair and he is sitting through health lectures right now in NYC.

But believe me, I'll try anything. So when he walks though the door, I'll be tap tapping him.

He'll probably think I lost my mind.

I wonder if we can do this to ourselves.

Can't hurt.

Default Jim? Do/would you go to Florida for help,

when something nearer and akin in philosophy might be nearer?

Here is one reference that LizaJane as found as a therapy helpful to her, I am aware of the process and find it non-invasive and HELPFUL!

http://www.feldenkraistrainingprogra...cworkshops.htm

This is by no means the ONLY or best resource? There are many other useful PT philosophies and approaches that can and do help! IT just has to be up to you to learn and know the differences in YOUR treatment, and be smart enough to know when your PT knows less than you do? Some therapies, ill-applied can do more harm than good. It's UP to YOU to be smarter than they are?
My philosophy is that IF it feels good and doesn't hurt the day after, well...no problem. IF it doesn't feel good in the DOING...STOP! and say why [usually easier said than done? Finding the WORDS - UGH!] Learn to pace yourself and work out what does and doesn't work. For many of us, different types of activity either help build strength OR make it worse.. You really have to listen to your body closely- all that it's saying to you both Over and Under the basic pain? and then go from there.

Just keep in mind that there are LOTS of alternatives, and probably someone super for you-nearby. Keep looking and trying. The better we can MOVE, the better our lives can be. - j
