I also got my b12 level last week,it is 492 (it was taken before I started taking any b12 tablets),can you tell me if this is a normal level ,thanks

Hi, and I know that Rose will back me up on this.

Your Vitamin B-12 level (especially if you have PN), should be in the 4 digits. If not, it should most definitely be above the 530 or so.

Right Rose???

Yes, I think that anyone with symptoms should aim for over 1000.

Anyone who has not already read my website (won't take long), please do. The B12 test is not reliable, and you can be deficient while having a result of over 400, 500, or even rarely over 700. B12 does not work in the blood, and most tests don't even test that accurately.
