Does anyone know or has anyone seen anything that relates to removal of the gall bladder and then problems with nutrient absorption?

The reason I'm asking is because the problems I had with the neuropathy didn't begin until after I'd had my gall bladder out for a couple, three years. Could this change the way my body absorbs B-12 and uses it? Could that be what caused the depletion of the B-12 to begin with?

I'd google this but I have no clue what search terms to use. I guess I'll take a stab or few in the dark and see what I can find.

Sorry, no answers for you, but I'd like to find out too. My gallbladder was removed in 1999.

I didn't look at tht link but when I was researching anorexia and deficiencies,damage so on I came across a link of gall bladder issues. So may be try anorexia and gall bladder. If I recall it talked about how the body empties slowly and hard to digest fats so on. It may also have similar issue to the gastric bypass Roxie would know more about that cause that has similar complication sometimes to anorexia.
