Default Has anyone heard the term.....

........Transneuronal Degeneration or may be called Transneuronal Atrophy? If so, what has it been related to in terms of disease process?

I can't find much information about this apart from injury induced Transneuronal Atrophy and that is not what I am looking for.

Any clues or profound thoughts?

From what I can see it means the cell body of the neuron dies, and that it is worse, than just having axonal damage (the axon is only part of the neuron), which may heal and repair.

Drs. will make alfull faces,and it makes them not comfy...No not your usuall
Neuro's but all Dr's mybe,they are afraid it will happen to them..
Read what Mrs, D has posted,wasting,,,is the word that usually comes
out of there mouth,most Dr.s when theymake that face.
