Default Orifices absorbtions

And remember folks...women...a pill can be inserted vaginally, held in place with a pontoon....or rectally, but I don't advise using a pontoon there!
This is a good place to get medication absorbed when swallowing is no longer an option, such as in vomiting, nauseu.
My husband had mouth cancer, his mouth was shut for some time because of the impregnated pontoon they'd put under his tongue, stitched in place for few days...was a nightmare for him with the pain...rectally...things got absorbed very quickly.
I wouldn't advise sticking anything anywhere butt where is supposed to be, but the tissue from your lips to your hiney is the same, soft smooth muscas membrains...well almost....but for these purposes here we'll just stay with this.

Flu season is a good time to remember these ER "tricks".
Sometimes when vomiting cannot be controlled and you're desperate for the medications, such as pain meds or anti-emetics (vomiting) meds...
it can be inserted...but like I said...
I'd call a Pharmacy 1st to see if doseage is proper for this form of deleivery.
Just dont eat those waxy suppositorys and don't let grandpa mix them up with his hearing aid!
He says...NO wonder the dang things didn't work, and couldn't hear a thing for weeks!,,,poor grandpa!

OK....those tricky ads....something in Three's...Tri something?
I really love what this doctor was saying, the one who was selling these years ago.
He's right on the money on this AND his is much cheeper than ONE injection...I think is $45 for one injection if done at a doctors office, and those tri vitamins are about $24 for months worth.
I'm NOT for or against them for anyone, but for some people like my mother with Alzheimers, she won't forget to take the other vits needed to make the B12 work properly.
I'd never allow anyone to automatically send me viatimins or anything like that...is very poor business!
We had a hospital pay themselves with our Master Card!....we'd sent a payment authorizing them to use the number to pay for some lab and biopsys that were outstanding....the next month they paid themselves $9,000 for a hospital bill our insurance failed to pay.
Master Card was flagged because of our recent fraud case, to inquire if we'd made such high purchase.
Were flabergasted to learn the local Providence Hospital paid themselves, not wanting to wait for insurance to pay!
So I'd recommend you NEVER send payments using your charge cards!
I got the call Friday evening after closing hours...so was a very long weekend and I could hardly wait to call the hospital so I could fume at them!...well at least we got a few miles on United airlines....
maybe upgrade to 1st class next time we travel...all dressed up and no where to go!

Blessings, cheryl

Cheryl

I'm still trying to figure out what a pontoon is.

My dad used to have a boat (years and years ago). He built it himself, and it had two pontoons.

So I gather you are not referring to THAT type of pontoon.

I had to read your post two times.

God, the things I learn on these boards. I never knew medication could be delivered via the OTHER route!!

I only hope I never have to do that.

Thanks much

Melody
