When I lived in Denver, I used to go to interfaith gatherings in December. They had representatives from a variety of traditions. It was a great learning experience.

One year, I learned a song in Swahili. Another year, I participated in a Hawaiian ceremony. And another year, I got to do a Winter Solstice dance.

I found out that you can find something in common with just about everyone. And that most people value peace. And that everyone has something good about them.
