This is PN. This is a comprehensive article, and clearly states the extent to which this disease can affect people.

This is an excellent article. I just read the symptoms on the page and I had that problem with my feet and the sheets touching them when I had my implants. I also had severe burning pain in my feet at that time and now have it when I stand on my feet for a long period of time. It is painful! After the removal of the implants, this has improved as I don't have the burning pain unless I stand on my feet for a long time. I do have pain in my shins along with numbness. Tingling in my finger tips and interestingly enough, I have absolutely no reflexes at all. Not in the knees or elbows. I don't see that mentioned anywhere and my neurologist told me that was PN.
