Hi everybody. My pain symptoms have recently been excacerbated despite of all the vitamins and everything i have done =(. I was touching my legs the other day on a part where they specially hurt, that is in the back of my knees, just where the tendon is. I could feel many little balls along my tendon. I checked my other leg and they were there too: dozens of tiny hard balls. I told my parents and they could feel them in my legs too. That made me remeber i discoverd some "balls" in the left side of my neck just below the ear and some others on the low back... I am wondering what they are, any guesses??

Get theee to your doctor IMMEDIATELY!!!! At least tomorrow anyway. Never heard of balls in the body. Heard of nodes in various parts. But not that many!!!

Really, I bet that is what anyone else will tell you.

Lumps along tendons can be ganglions:

Some people make hard calcified lumps when injured...they typically go away by themselves.

But get evaluated by a doctor.

There are nodules that form during rheumatoid arthritis processes, but they are typically large, associated with joints like the elbow, fingers, and not numerous.

There is a genetic disease called neurofibromatosis, that has nerve tumors that develop, but if you had this most likely it would have shown up earilier in your life. (not likely)

Gout...may cause deposits along tendons, and a blood test is needed to
evaluate it.

Ganglion cysts was my first thought as well. But as you pointed out, MrsD, that's something a doctor has to determine. I've never heard of that many at one time but that doesn't mean it can't be. Only that I've never heard of it before.

Please, let us know what the doctor says?
