Dang it, Shiney Sue! Get better fast! We are all pulling for you. Sounds like you have had an awful time, and I am sure sorry for that. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Hello there, my shiney friend! Forgive me, I've been wallowing in my own woes and had no idea how you are suffering.:( I'm so sorry that I have been so utterly clueless. Cheap help, I guess.:o

What are we going to do with you, missy? I would sing a nice song for you but I'm under strict warnings from my local police department about that.

I would blow up a thousand brightly colored balloons for you, but then I'd pass out.

I would paint a mural on your ceiling to amuse you, but alas, I can't even paint well with a professional taking my orders.

I would row a boat to rescue you, but, well, we'd both drown and I think that would be littering.

I could just say from my heart that I hope you feel much better very, very soon, so I will. I hope you feel much better very, very soon, and do keep on shining!

Sue...

Hi there,
So glad you've got enough spunk left to make jokes. You always amaze me! :) No miracles yet for my eyes. But there is a new product coming out (hopefully in the next month) which will be like goggles but more cosmetically pleasing. And they hoping that some people will be able to wear them under glasses. It's a clear moisture goggle. It will be sealed enough to allow some humidity to build up..which will keep moisture close to the eye. I could have really used them in the two hospital stays I had. So dry in those places. I'm very well acquainted with the manufacturer/designer of this product. They already make a nightime moisture goggle that a lot of the eye doctors carry in their shops. www.eyeeco.com

I've worn them for almost 4 years now and even took them to the hospital this last trip Anyway, hoping their new product will be as successful. I'll be sure to let you know about it.

Hope Dr. John gets your feet out of the air. He is such a wonderful person.
You take care of yourself. Be a good patient but take care of yourself.

Billye

Hi Sue:

I heard you have not been well. I truly hope you are up and about soon.

Until then, here's a pretty picture to make you think and relax.

Just picture yourself (maybe with John?) and a nice picnic basket, with this view.

It's really breathtaking!!!

Yes Sue

To answer your question, I have very dry skin. I soak myself in an oil/cream lotion after every shower. I looked and looked for one and tried so many things. I finally settled on one that I make myself. It's been so much more pleasing than others. The secret is in putting the lotion on immediately after the shower to lock the moisture in.

Feel better,
Billye

Don't you worry Sue:

I'll sing a song just for you.

I'll post it here when I do it. You'll laugh your head off.

Take care,

Melody

It's good to hear from you, Shiney Sue! My son in Iraq is doing fine, thank you, except for being a little cranky due to the plumbing in his area needing repairs -- no showers. Minor problem compared to what many are suffering. I am sending healing thoughts your way.

MelodyL 02-01-2008 07:42 PM

Okay Sue:

Here's your song!!! Hope it makes you smile!!
