Sounds like you salvaged your day....and got a good dinner too.
I got to eat 3 of my Valentine chocolate turtles and hubby got 3 too....I put them away in my underwear drawer (OK weird, I know -but it is the top drawer) ...the next day went to my dental appointment, came home and there was the empty heart box! And an open underwear drawer.
I believe firmly in the benefits of chocolate---I think it is a 'girl' thing.
