Thanks to all above posts. My therapist is helping me with endurance and
balance. I have five exercises to do at home on my bed.

Hi JR, no i never worked with a physio therapist but i was lucky enough not have any balance problems, just terrible burning feet & numbness in my feet and burning up to my knee's, i echo everything Dahlek has described previously.

I would make sure that there is nothing else contributing to your nerve damage, also there is an excellent post in the " stickies " [on the front page up top] by Wings42 about supplements to help heal the nerves.
Nerve's can heal if they are in the right environment but it is a slow process.
