I'm currently on 3 antibiotics for a TB-like organism living in my sinuses. Here's an interview on the subject of irrigating with saline by the nurse in my doctor's office.

Link to abstract of article on mycobacterium in sinuses. Remember: Boil the water first. It's a good thing to irrigate, but use boiled water. I boil several quarts at a time, and use them when needed.
