Hi Kmeb!

Thanks for your input!

I have taken morphine (and dilaudid for breakthrough pain) for 4 years now. These do slow down the GI tract. I have not had nausea before from them.
Yet, you may be onto something, as we have "bumped up" the morphine a bit!
With the morphine increase (which could create nausea for me at this dose) and the GI "bug," it has probably just compounded the situation?


I do try to avoid constipation from meds.
Probably should pay even more attention to avoiding any constipation.
There's a good thread right here on this!
