(we used to in the past). My son came over for a day, both to remove the large ones in the beginning and put to them back 8 wks later. He was a big help! The other stones my husband used a wheelbarrow to move around. I did carry the flagstones and help position those--they weren't large. My biggest problem now is bending alot. I can only do that for an hour, and I am goners. I did alot of sitting in a chair and supervising however! LOL  I am sort of the "creative" consultant now.My husband has good knees and can even kneel on them, so he does not bend. I have a nice cushion for him too.
