It's totally normal to build up resistance to hydrocodone and need ever increasing doses for the same amount of relief. I went from 1 to 4 Vicodin tabs over an eight month period before my Dr switched me to oxycodone. Plan is when/if I build resistance to switch back to hydro.
I also thought Lyrica had stopped working for me at 600 mg a day so I started cutting back 75 mg a week till I was down to 300 mg and realized it was working good, my pain had just increased. I worked my way back up to 450 mg and it seems to be doing good for me now. Hang in there. |
