Default Funny....

I was scrolling through the topics quickly and saw "I'll Be Gone In A Week" and thought "oh that's dreadful", so I went back....and re-read the header and was relieved to see that it said instead, "I'll Be Gone For a Week".

Have a great time while you are away and take good care of yourself (keep away from the sharks and the stingrays!!) .....so that you are only gone for a week!!!!

No sharks or stingrays.
Lots
of big wind for the first 4 days, increasing to the end result
of the tropical depression that socked in the East coast
then heavy wind & rain on the 5th day
(the beach was blocked off for the rest of the vacation-
'DO NOT ENTER' signs put up, on the access paths -
beach erosion and undertow)
and rain on the last day,
to load up & drive back.
Squalls, thundershowers, intermittently.for the 4 hour drive.
So only wet weather for 1 day during,
and 1 day for the drive. Not too bad, at all.
Glad to get back to my recliner and my bed, though.
I feel relaxed and sorry I have to get back to work today,
but .... gotta pay the rent !

Smile Welcome Home!

I remember when you went for Mothers Day. You stayed inside all week long. At least this time it didn't rain on you all week. Did you enjoy yourself? Did you relax? That was the whole point.

We are glad to hear it went better than your last trip.
