Default Blank spot in my right eye...

Hi all,
I used to be on here as SeamsLikeStitches....
I've had Idiopathic PN for four years now. However, after losing 50 pounds, it has really done well. I have changed my eating habits, etc. and I now only have pain levels of 2-4 and can even walk with my tennis shoes on for up to a 1/2 mile now! (I used to be a runner, so I really miss walking and running).

Anyway, I have recently developed a new symptom. I have a blank spot in my right eye. It's like if I am looking at this page of text, and I were to take a small circle right out of the middle of it. It's actually shaped more like an oval, but you get the idea.

I've had migraines in the past and had what I call "puddles" with them, when they blur my vision and cause me to not be able to see parts of my vision. However, this spot is different... it's like someone actually took an eraser and erased a spot from the page!

I've had it for three days now. Not sure what to think of it. Still don't have medical insurance, so I can't really afford to go to the doctor. No pain associated with it.

I did find on one web site this information: (of course I deleted the unrelated symptoms, but the ones that applied to PN I have included)

Demyelination: destruction or loss of the myelin sheath typically results in diverse symptoms. The symptoms are determined by the functions normally contributed by the affected neurons.
• Blurriness in the central visual field that affects only one eye; may be accompanied by pain upon eye movement
• Odd sensation in legs, arms, chest, or face, such as tingling or numbness (neuropathy)

Anyone else have issues with their eyes?

BTW, hello everyone.... I've been lurking, but not commenting.
