Also about the Mega 3, would Mega 3 fatty acid supplements you can buy at Walmart be good for my skin?

OMEGA-3s....there are other multivits called MEGA, please don't confuse them. Omega-3's are fats, and should be taken with food.
Since your problems are basically skin oriented, you want to use 1 Flax oil (the basic omega-3)cap, at least 3 times a day. Also helpful is B6, and magnesium to help metabolize the fat properly. There is peanut butter now with flax in it, Smart Balance, and also some cereals, cookies. Read the labels. 3oz of unsalted almonds = 270mg magnesium and that is about what you want. Do not buy magnesium OXIDE as it is useless. Males need more zinc than females, and zinc helps the skin heal too. A good multivit with B complex and zinc would be what to use in addition to the flax oil. Magnesium is best eaten, and I have a magnesium thread on page 1 of Vitamin forum as well. Many foods have good magnesium in them. All of this should be available at a WalMart. If you read my thread I posted the link for... you will understand better. It need not cost much/day. And your skin will be much better, and if you have acne, it will improve.
