Thumbs up I voted last week...

using an absentee ballot.

My husband went today, and there was NO LINE! Imagine that!
He took a book and everything.

He was #450 at 9:20 am and they expected a rush at lunch and at 4pm-8pm. He just hit the lull after the 7am rush.

I didn't think I could manage standing for a long time, so I did the absentee way.

Everyone should vote, IMO, too. Thanks for the reminder!

Default Haven't missed any election since I was a pup or the like.

I'd gone early this time, took 4-5 times longer than it would've today. But, I didn't have to 'worry' about that standing around [which I do NOT do well at all!].
I will worry if my vote went into electronic hyper-space tho, until the results are really and truly in. Then I'll worry about which 'space' it went into maybe. Probably another dimension or something.
Here is hoping that all will work out as it should - whatever that may be.
Hugs to all! 's - j

I went and there was no line at all.
Walked in and was given a booth immediately.
My wife had the same experience, & we vote at 2 different polling places.
All the standing in line for hours from NY to San Fran, must've been
a target area for the media to cash in on- the hysteria of the odd-man-out.
Whether you liked the outcome or not, if you voted - you made it count!

Wink I am so relieved that it is finally done!

I was getting pretty tense, this fall. Today I feel so much better. I've had enough of all this!

While CNN did have interesting coverage...I really dislike Wolf Blitzer...he gave me a literal headache. So I turned the station back to ABC and it was a much gentler ride there! And I am not a headache person.

The graphics state of the art is amazing tho!

As soon as i get my sample ballot in the mail i call the office for an absentee ballot. Fill it out and mail it. No lines just 60 cents.
