Default Doctor?

Hi all. I know I have not been on here much so I am sorry for asking for help. Anyhow I am having a lot of health problems. I go to my 5th PM doctor on Tues who is supposed to do a whole approach with invasive treatment, meds,pt etc. This is for my rsd in the legs.I also have pn but they feel this pain is rsd. This time I am ready to do a procedure because my pain has been so bad. Anyhow I have had major eye issues and went to my 7th eye doctor who was a specialist. With this he gave me another eye drop and 2 nose sprays cause I have a blockage in my nose and he felt the drainage is causing my ear and eye pain. He also gave me a new eye drop for the bleph/dry eye. I still have the floaters and have been dialated many times. They just feel they are floater. Anyhow now in addition since starting the new meds I have severe dizzy and head pressure and the pressure in eyes and ear still. Today though I have a lot of gunk coming up but could not leave the house my head hurt and I feel so dizzy. So my ? I am on the hunt for a new general. This will be my 3rd. I am now back in MI and was refered a DO internist but this persons wait is too long but was reading more on DO and was wondering if anyone has seen one and if they take a more whole approach. I also have to go back to the neuro or someone to do another mri of my brain because now with the legs, eyes, head, ear maybe something will show. Any thoughts?

Lightbulb have you tried

Mucinex oral for those plugged sinuses?

It really works for me. I just got over a sinus thing...which seems to be going around here. Drink lots of water with it too.
It is now available generically at Walgreen's for less $$.
If you have sore throat and drainage also like many get with sinus, then spray with Chloraseptic spray twice a day.
It clears it up really fast---kills lots of germs. My husband cleared up in 3 days with no antibiotics with Chloraseptic and mucinex!

Default Silly question on my part?

DO stands for which?
Doc of Opthamology or Doc of Osteopathy?
Honestly, rather than doc hop, I'd go back and persist and articulate more clearly my complaints..... Make this doc put that old gray matter to work and make that doc WANT to for you!
Allergies often cause gunk build ups [I've got them, and know they can aggravate life big-time!] Getting the Gunk OUT any way you can safely [w/minimum of drugs] is ideal. Have you ever tried a sinus steam inhaler or the like? I'm not at that point yet, but am considering it.
As long as the gunk is clear or white and not deliteful colors of green you are doing OK -no infections or the like. If your eyes are dry, is it because something in that whole 'system' isn't working rite or is it something distinct? GP should send you to a eye, ear, nose and throat kind of specialist [they are becoming rare tho] to have a whole look-see. Worth a shot, at least?

Sorry I meant doc Osteopathy but I just found out that this is not the type I want. I am sorry I didn't make myself clear. I have an apt on Thurs with an ear/nose/throat doc. I have no allergies other then dust mites cause I went to an allergist. I do have blockages in my nose so that is why the nose spray. I have been to 7 opthamologists because I suffer from dry eye and blepheritis that has only gotten worse in the last year. I am super scared and need to get into a gp cause I feel overall horrible and really I am not sure if it is cause my head is so stuffed or from my eye issue but I am struggling to see and focus. Not so much words those I can read but more focus. My one gp is in Ca but the other here the issue was I have rsd and I told her I can't be touched in the area which is inner ankle/foot/calf. Well she pushed and I caved which for now with every doc I don't cave at all but she sent me into the worst flare up cause she was stretching and rubbing and that is a big NO with my rsd. I don't know what to do but need to get in for blood work I feel and just a check. The eyes have been checked so much that I don't know. So do I still go back to that gp if she has an opening or just go and get a random internist but at a good hospital cause the one I want is not till the 15th and that is too long like this. I do have the PM on Tues but they don't really deal with overall in the times I have seen.

to be totally honest, I think you need to consider finding a doctor and sticking with them, give them a chance to work up your case, try some treatments etc etc. I am a little concerned that you have seen so many doctors, and am not sure what you are wanting to hear from them.

I do totally understand that it can be really frustrating if you feel that your symptoms are not being treated well by a particular doctor, but it seems that you have already been through 14 doctors which does seem rather a lot.

wishing you all the best

You are right. I am sorry and just frustrated and in pain. A lot of the time I get shoved off to another doctor too. Like at this past eye doctor she was concerned so sent me directly to the specialist. She called. I just feel like even with all my doctors I am 30 and this is a lot for a long time so something is missing. I also and I know this happens to others but since my body is so sensitive I tend to have bad reactions to a lot so I don't want to go back to the doctor who I felt made that mistake but it may just be my body is so weird and not there mistake so to speak. I hear so often from the doctors that they don't see much of this and that is with a lot of my health problems in someone my age very often. Well I really am thinking about what you said though. Thanks
