Hello everyone,
I have finally quit the coffee habit and began a relationship with hot teas both am and pm. Would appreciate any information from those of you who are tea users. Thanks Lanny |

it upsets my stomach.
I have a robust Breakfast tea (with caffeine) once a day in the morning.(Bigelow) Green tea decaf during the day --in varying amounts. I also like peppermint tea when I am cold or chilled. And lemon tea if I have a cold. I use Yerba Mate for gall bladder flares. This tea is really good and has several medicinal features that work well for me. I only use the green variety--organic. It is available in a capsule called Green Mate by Jarrow.

At one time i was a big tea drinker, my personal choice was always tea made in a pot served with a thin china cup with additional hot water in another pot if needed, not the quick easy way tea bag way that most do these days, i guess its just personal choice for everyone though.

We have been big tea drinkers for a very long time. My husband traveled in Europe for most of his working career, so he developed the habit of drinking tea early on. I came by it later. We order all of our tea from a tea specialty company that I found on line. We don't use loose tea. We don't use tea bags. You can not get a decent cup of tea in a bag. If you want to PM me I'll give you the name of the tea company. It is superb tea. Tea should never be bitter or acidic. I make my tea in a glass teapot. I heat the water to the temperature that the tea requires (different teas require different temps). Then I measure the tea into the teapot stainless steel strainer and cover it with a tea cosy to keep the water hot while it is steeping the required time (different teas require different times). It is wonderful. I never have had problems once I learned how to properly make it. It did require a few months of experiments with different teas to find our favorites.
