Dan,
Anytime a post is deleted there is a record of it that the moderators can see. NONE of your posts have been deleted. I have checked (3 times now). You did post here on NT about Mike Finkelstein, but you did not make a new thread when you posted it, you posted the information as a reply. Anyway, no one has deleted any of your threads. No one has deleted any posts/threads that contain the contact information for Mike Finkelstein. If you want to contact KimmyDawn or DocJohn (the 2 admins here) or if you wish to contact any of the other moderators to verify what I am telling you you can find their contact info here - http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/showgroups.php None of your posts have been deleted. Liz

Hello Dan
I can confirm what Liz has just said...there is absolutely no record of any deletion of your posts by anyone who would be able to do so. All moderator/admin deleted posts appear in a special area that mods and admin have access to, and there is no post of yours there. It is also the policy here that any post that is edited or deleted by admin or a moderator, always has a covering PM sent to the member.

here is a copy of the post you made :
When and if a PNer reaches the point where applying for Social Security disability is near I strongly recommend that Mike Finkelstein be contacted at: mike3736@hotmail.com His telephone number is 1-718-966-3736. Mike resides in the Eastern Time Zone so consider that if you call. Mike has helped a lot PNers get their SS disability and very often on the first try. I'm pretty sure some of the folks here have used his advice and I'm certain some from the old BT forum and TNA site have. Mike does not fill out the forms for you but will guide you all the way through the process. He knows not only what to include but perhaps more important what NOT to include. Mike does not charge for his expertise but if he were to get me through that process I would certainly give him a nice stipend once the approval was obtained. He is legitimate in every sense of the word and I have personally met and visited with him when I made a trip to NY. He came all the way into NYC to meet with me and we had dinner and talked the night away. I belong to this and a couple of other PN sites so Mike and I remain in touch. I'm certain that Rose will verify Mike's letitimacy as well as Mrs D, Glenn, David, and maybe Lisa Jane and a few others here. Why does he help? Because he too is a PNer, understands the problems, and simply enjoys being of service to his fellow man/woman. Simply put, Mike is the real McCoy. So, I stongly recommend everyone reading this write down Mike's name, email address, and telephone number and keep it handy. And Mike...if your reading this - thanks for all those you have helped and blessings upon you, my friend.

Hi again Dan
the post that Curious has quoted above was on a different thread.....perhaps that is why you thought it had been deleted when you couldnt find it here here is the thread where you posted the info http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...0643#post40643 again, I can absolutely assure you that NO post of yours has been deleted by any mods or admin........ there would firstly be no reason for us to delete an informative post such as yours and secondly, as mentioned before, all posts deleted by mods and admin are archived in a special forum and there is no post of yours there we are VERY careful here not to delte posts without first having PM contact with the member and we very seldom delete posts, unless they are yuck spam or those kinds of problems hope that solves the mystery for you now that your post has been found on that other thread ![]()

Well, I'll chime in with a word of reassurance that NO post has been deleted, moved or otherwise of yours.
![]() Sometimes posts appear to be lost somewhere in space. ![]() It does happen, and sometimes we never know why. I do know that Doc John did some forum arranging but don't think that would've affected a thread. Also, if a thread/post of yours had been deleted or moved from the public view, you would've have received a PM giving you a complete explanation as to why. ![]() I hope you have a great day and think the post has now been reposted for everyone to view easily? If there are any additional concerns, please don't hesitate to PM/email me. ![]() KD

I lost a post yesterday that I was making on the Epilepsy forum...it was long and detailed too.
You know what did me in? This new version of Mozilla 2.0 browser has a new feature of "tabs" at the top. And since I was using two windows of Mozilla, I closed the wrong one by mistake... poof went my reply ...and I had to recompose it. I confess the tab feature is confusing for me. So I understand what Kimmy is saying...if you thought you made a new thread and all. But you know all this attention has me thinking....the Mike Finkelstein info could be very useful in The Useful Websites sticky or as a sticky of its own, so it is not lost in the movement of the threads as time passes. It is so important, so please consider that. It is a great resource you posted.

Wow six posts explaining the deletion process and looking for the post from moderators/administrators. What a difference from that other board. They would ban you for daring to ask. It should be a sticky, unless mike doesnt want it to be.
