Some drugs cause high CPK ...esp statins for cholesterol.
If you tell me what drugs you take, I'll look them up for you. Sometimes exercise will do it too. There is a version without the skin discolorations called polymyositis.

I found out np was a side effect, that was about 18 mos. ago. could the hi CK still be from the statins? I had a nurse practioner research the meds I am on and she didn't find any that would cause it |
