Actually, the only thing I have done is walking, never more then a smaller, brisker pace. I have been afraid to do anything else due to the pain I start to feel...

Pain can have a negative effect itself on the course of any illness, as it increases stress.
I am in the same boat, I went running around the GG Park 10 days ago and I am still paying for it. I was fine for the first few days after running but then all hell broke loose - burning, deep aches, stinging, twitching.

Very true about the stress chamade. Yep, it seems like I am also having a delayed effect after the activity...

I use a Gazelle, and often, go at a good clip. It is very easy on joints. I put on my headset with fast music and go at it!

We urge all doctors to take time to listen to your patients.. don't "isolate" symptoms but look at the whole spectrum. If a patient tells you s/he feels as if s/he's falling apart and "nothing seems to be working properly", chances are s/he's right!

Sounds fun. I miss the kind of exercise I used to do, even the treadmill. I tried to go on it after developing PN , but the muscle cramps and pains I felt in my legs afterwards were awful....
