Default No burning on a real hot day.

It was a real hot stinker of a day today, it got to 38 degrees celsius or in the old scale about 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

I justed wanted to share with you all that today even with those very high tempertures, i had no burning in my feet of lower legs at all, nothing, just stayed the same all day, much better than it was a while back when it got to anything near 25 C's, my feet would have been on fire, so i am real happy about that result.

Up to about 3 weeks ago I was still taken 25 mg Endep in the morning, so i felt game enough to see how i would go if i didn't take that Endep dose in the morniing, the result was good, i have no need for it now, anyway i have to see my neuro for my yearly checkup next thursday, should be interesting.
take care everyone,
Brian

Thumbs up That is wonderful, Brian.

The burning in the summer, really gets me! I don't have it every day, but often when it is really hot out and until last summer we didn't have AIR. Now we have a portable unit in the bedroom..so I spent alot of time in there.

Up North, it never gets that hot. It is a cool place in the far Northern US on the Canadian border.

Your Endep takes a while to leave the body...after about 3 weeks, you might
notice it is gone. But perhaps not.

Thanks Mrs D, sound like living near the Canadian border would be an ideal place to live for people with small nerve damage, with us down under Tasmania would be a good spot being closer to the south pole.
Thanks for the advise with the Endep too

Wink Brian..

we only live up North in the summers. I live in a cold place, but not that cold,
in winters, farther south! The lake is always cool, about 60 degrees F, and I can dip my feet in there if need be. LOL

I won't wear socks in summer either. I use very thin ones for work, then.
In winter I can even tolerate them on my feet at night, but only if it is really cold.

Biofreeze is good for the burning, for anyone else reading here. I find it very cooling when I need it.

Default Biofreeze for burning

is the best. I get it from my foot doctor. As mrsD said, it is cooling and feels so good. Please send some of your heat this way. Northern Ohio winters are not the best, although supposed to be near 50 by Tuesday, of course with rain

MrsD - I see, i use to do virtualy the same thing but i live by the bay and there has been lots of times i have rolled up my strides and walked into the water to cool down my feet, it wasn't warm weather either, i did get some strange looks off some people they must have thought i was nuts or something , it was so nice i couldn't care less what they thought .

Diana - Please send some of that rain over here, we need it badly, our farmers are going down, most of our state is covered with smoke due to the amount of bush fires, In the bellarine district were on stage 4 water restrictions now, not allowed even to give your plants a drink nor can you even wash your car [ only your windscreen and lights your allowed to wash ], if you get caught its a $2,000 fine, so its pretty crook really.

Brian

Default Weather doesn't matter much to me.

My feet are always burning. I live in the desert, 90 miles from Vegas and last summer was horrible with too many days in the 115-120 range. Next summer (2007) we are going to get out of here for 8 weeks or so at the peak time. (We hope to rent a ski apt. in Park City,UT for a couple of months in the summer. Great rates.) So while the heat was horrible for my body, the burning in my feet only increased slightly.
Now, our weather is in the 60's during the day and in the high 30's, low 40's at night. My feet are burning & bright red right now. I'm coming out of a flair so that's typical. I could lead Santa's sleigh with my feet!

Enjoy your summer Brian!

Now thats what you call HOT 120 f, wow, you could just about melt lead down in those tempatures, going to Vegas and trying my luck has been on my wish list for a long time, but if Vegas is part of that desert i think i will give it a big miss.
It certainly does sound like you could lead Santa's sleigh , but all jokes aside i do hope your flare settles down very soon for you.
all the best
Brian
